This is the account of a rape four centuries ago, more specifically in the year 1611. The victim was the Italian Artemisia Gentileschi, an artist whose talent can be proved by the fact that she was the first woman accepted in the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, Italy, the same one where Michelangelo studied.
